Biking around the lake in the morning, followed by a bike with the boys. Then some time at the park followed by paint selection. Go Cadel!

Independence Day 2011

Full, full and full day. M biked, B handled breakfast. Boys biked to the beach walked in the water and watched 6 boats launch or be recovered.
Next they went to the bike decorating and worked diligently, especially on flags. Then on to the big parade, some say it was the longest ever, there seemed to be higher quality candy than in years past. After lunch we powered to the Narrows and checked out the boat party; then on to the little Glen shallows by the dune for swimming and a first try at wake boarding.

M finished great, first in her age group. B finished 8th in his.
It was raining early in the mornoing but turned overcst and misty by the start – perfect.
